To celebrate Mother’s Day, mother of two Mariana Arruda shares her experiences raising two under two.

If you thought, it would be hard to have two babies under two years old, you were right. It’s not easy, but can also be cute. No, it wasn’t planned. They are 13 months apart so don’t believe them when they say you can’t get pregnant while breastfeeding.

I never thought I would end up in this wild world of two babies under two. It’s the hardest age in my opinion, when they are learning and developing. The hardest part for me is giving the same attention to both and trying to keep them safe from each other.

But my heart melts when I see them hug each other. I started planning my days and getting more organised, and this is the key for not going crazy. Always have food ready for your toddler and your baby. I think this is the best advice I can give to you, new mom.

If someone asks me if I had to choose if I would have two under two? Definitely yes. It can be hard, but if we wait too much, maybe we’ll change our mind! it’s safe to say, you can survive and we can do everything as a mom.
