Turmeric milk

We all can feel helpless as parents when our little ones are unwell. Their little nose is running and red. Their eyes are all watery. Cuddles is a must along with some helpful home remedies to try and ease their discomfort.

Turmeric is beneficial for the whole family, even babies, and has been used for thousands of years as medicine due to its immune-boosting qualities.

The powerful backbone within turmeric is called Curcumin. Curcumin is a polyphenol that makes it yellow. It is also the reason turmeric has so many health benefits which may include:

Antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties help decrease inflammation in the body.

Digestive aid that supports the growth of good bacteria in the gut and prevents gas and bloating.

Anti-microbial properties that can help prevent infections. Turmeric can be used topically to help heal wounds, eczema, and acne because it can naturally disinfect and decrease swelling.
